ABOUT SHERE KHAN
I’ve been DJing and producing music since 2017, but my connection to music started long before I ever stepped behind a set of decks. Living in Denver during the growth of its electronic music scene completely changed the way I experienced live music. I fell in love with the culture surrounding it, the production, the creativity and especially the way music could turn a room full of strangers into a community for a few hours. I wanted to understand more than just how to play music. I wanted to understand how it was made, how it moved people and how to create that experience myself.
That eventually led me to music school in Denver, where I graduated in 2020 and continued developing Shere Khan as both a DJ and producer. Over the years, the project has changed right along with me. Different genres, different crowds, different places and different seasons of life have all found their way into what I play today.
Now, being back in Northwest Colorado has given that passion an entirely new purpose: bringing more live music, creative events and unexpected experiences to the place I call home.
In 2026, Shere Khan was voted #1 Best DJ in “Best of Moffat County”, an especially meaningful recognition after bringing my project, Shere Khan, home and becoming part of the local music community.
I DON’T REALLY DO ONE GENRE
House. Nu-disco. Funk. Electronic. Bass. Hip-hop. Trap. Dubstep. Throwbacks. If it makes you feel something in the moment, it belongs.
FESTIVALS + LIVE EVENTS
I don’t just show up and play music. I build an atmosphere around it. A Shere Khan set is meant to be an experience: the music, the energy, the environment and the crowd all becoming part of the same thing. I want people dancing, moving together and feeling like they’re part of the performance, not just watching it happen.
Every event is different, and every set takes shape around the space, the people and the energy in front of me.
I love taking people through different sounds and different levels of energy throughout a set. House can turn into nu-disco, hip-hop into bass, a throwback into trap. I don’t believe a great night has to stay inside one genre. The common thread is how the music makes the crowd feel.
Shere Khan is available for festivals, concerts, community events, private parties, brand events, afterparties and anywhere else that calls for a real live music experience. From the music and pacing to the energy surrounding the set, I want the entire thing to feel intentional.
Whether it’s a packed dance floor, an outdoor festival or a room full of people ready to lose themselves in the music, the goal stays the same:

Your wedding should feel personal from the first song to the last one. I curate the music around the songs you actually love, the people you’re bringing together and the kind of night you want to have. It’s different from a regular Shere Khan set, but the goal is the same: creating an experience people can feel together. I’ll work with you to make sure the music reflects your relationship, your taste and your day.
ONE TEAM. ONE EXPERIENCE.
Because Shere Khan is part of Colt 45 Productions, your music doesn’t have to exist separately from everything else you’re planning. DJ and MC services, photography, cinematography, wedding planning and other wedding services can all work together under one creative team.
That means fewer vendors to coordinate, a team that already knows how to work together and people looking at your wedding as one complete experience instead of a collection of separate jobs.
shere khan’s BARN SESSIONS
Coming back to Northwest Colorado made me realize how badly I wanted to create more live music experiences here. Barn Sessions grew out of that idea.
Hosted inside Craig’s historic Luttrell Barn, Barn Sessions was created as something more than another night with a DJ in the corner. The vision is a live music experience built around the space itself: artists, lighting, sound, atmosphere and a lineup that isn’t afraid to cross genres.
It’s about creating the kind of night where the venue becomes part of the experience and the line between the performers and the crowd starts to disappear. Different sounds, different artists and different people all sharing the same space and energy for a night.
The goal is to continue building Barn Sessions with new artists, different sounds, themed events and bigger experiences while creating another place for musicians, creatives and the community to come together.
